All at Taylor's foodstore will miss him. He was a lovely gentleman with a big heart. Our thoughts are with his family.

I was very sorry to learn of the death of this old Holme Valley Grammar School colleague, and of his health problems. Although we had not met for some considerable time, we exchanged cards every Christmas. I chose him to be "Best Man" at my wedding to Christine, but he withdrew before the day, so I picked my wife's brother in law, Rodney, in his place. Rodney's sister, Alys Lindley,, saw Walker from time to time as they lived relatively near each other. Walker's passing leaves a gap in my life, but we know he is at peace now. Goodbye, Walker.
